Its all about family

  • In the beginning

It all started in 1855 with the Ackland-Snow’s operating a plumbing and gasfitting company who then decided to add shopfitting to their brief. In 1898 they started making scenery for London Theatres, notably making props for Maskelyne and Devant, famous magicians at the time. Their business was so successful that over the years they increased their workshop space to eventually owning several of the Hammersmith Arches and began producing scenery for London Theatres.
